Luxury Escape to Merzouga desert

The rate provided for this trip is a special one, negotiated exclusively with Imperial Glory Lodges and our transportation partners.

Availability is first based on available seats on the flight operated by RAM, and then on available spaces in the tents.

Please check in at least 1 hour and 30 minutes before the scheduled flight time, with your CIN card or passport.

A WhatsApp group will be created 2 days before departure to discuss details and stay in touch with other travelers.

The minimum number of participants for this program is 4, with a maximum set at 14.

Direct gathering at the exit of Errachidia airport. Once you arrive in Errachidia, our 4x4 drivers will be waiting for you at the exit to transfer you to your lodge (about 1H30 drive).

09:00 – Wake up and breakfast on site.

10:00 – Begin your desert discovery with a scheduled 4x4 tour. For the next 4 hours, you'll explore the desert's hidden treasures:

We will traverse the Erg Chebbi, pass through the village of Khamalia - a perfect opportunity to experience the Gnawa music. Next, we head to the Merzouga lake and the fossil mines. During this journey, we'll get the chance to meet nomads and take a tea break with them.

This expedition across the Sahara is a unique experience, offering a journey rich in discoveries.

13:00 – Lunch with the Khamlia family.

15:00 – Get ready for an exhilarating Quad circuit through the desert! Ideal for those seeking adventure and thrills. (Optional activity, plan for 400 DH/Quad. Confirm when booking)

Before departure, a raid team will be on hand to provide instructions and necessary protective gear (helmet, gloves, balaclava, glasses). There will also be an introduction to driving the quad. You'll then cross the imposing dunes of Merzouga. Guaranteed adrenaline rush!

17:30 – Arrival at the luxury GLORY bivouacs.

08:30 – Rise early this morning to witness one of the most majestic sunrises. After a delightful breakfast, we head to the sacred town of Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty. Rissani will captivate you with its artisanal market, its splendid ksour (fortified villages), and its unique Saharan atmosphere.

In this emblematic city, we'll explore various monuments, including the Alaouite mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif. The center hosts a myriad of services and shops. The visit includes the Rissani Souk and the town's Ksour.

12:00 – Lunch break in Rissani before returning to the Luxury Bivouacs in Merzouga.

17:00 – After some relaxation and a refreshing shower, embark on a memorable camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes, offering one of the world's most breathtaking sunsets.

20:00 – Enjoy your dinner and have a pleasant night at the hotel.

04:00 – Wake up and 4x4 transfer to Errachidia airport (included).

The flight from Errachidia to Casablanca is scheduled for 7:30 AM, with an expected arrival in Casablanca at 8:30 AM.
