Hiking in the Tacheddirt Valley
The Tacheddirt Valley offers a spectacular hike through the majestic Atlas Mountains. This trek will lead you through incredible landscapes, traditional Berber villages, and impressive mountain peaks.
One of the highlights of this hike is the ascent to Tacheddirt Pass, situated at an altitude of 3,172 meters. It's a moderately challenging yet rewarding climb that provides breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and the valley below.
Itinéraire
Our journey will begin at 5:00 PM with our departure from Casablanca. After 2 or 3 hours, we will take a break for dinner along the way before continuing our journey towards Imlil. Around 10:00 PM, we will finally arrive in Imlil, where we will settle in for the night at a welcoming inn.

The hike from the village of Imlil to the Tacheddirt Valley is an unforgettable experience that offers breathtaking landscapes. This approximately 13 km hike takes about 5 hours to complete.
The hike starts from the village of Imlil, and you will pass through several small traditional Berber villages while admiring the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Along the way, you will see terraced fields, oak and walnut forests, as well as crystal-clear streams.
After about 4 hours of hiking, it's time for a well-deserved lunch break with a local host. We will then continue our hike to the Tacheddirt Valley, located at an altitude of 2,314 meters. The panoramic view of the mountains and the surrounding valley is well worth the day's effort.

After a good breakfast, we begin our hike from the guesthouse, taking us through winding paths up to the Tacheddirt Pass, located at an altitude of 3,172 meters.
The ascent to the Tacheddirt Pass requires a good level of fitness. The hike takes approximately 4 hours, and you will need to climb a positive elevation gain of 800 meters. However, once at the pass, you'll be rewarded with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the valley below.
After enjoying the view at the pass, you will start the descent back to the guesthouse, where you can take some time to rest and relax before lunch.
After lunch, it will be time to return to the vehicles and continue the journey back to Casablanca. You'll have one last opportunity to savor the beautiful landscapes of the Tacheddirt Valley on your way to your final destination.
